Mark and Camelia Adel moved full time to the Sandhills in 2009 from Northern Virginia with their house-full of rescues looking for a bit slower and friendlier lifestyle. They will tell you they have found it here and are in love with the area. Of course, being from the traffic capital of the US, the traffic circle is sort of a running joke in their house.

Mark’s Tax Professionals has been serving the Sandhills for almost ten years now. They are a full-service tax preparation and planning business, as well as offering other services such as Notary Public, Fax Service, and Bookkeeping and Payroll. Located conveniently on Hwy 5 next to Food Lion and two doors down from Vito’s, they are available to clients twelve months a year. With the new tax laws creating much confusion and anxiety this year they look forward to helping people navigate this stressful time. "This is the largest tax overhaul in almost forty years says Mark"

"We are a little old fashioned, what we do is not about the numbers, it’s about the client relationships that we build. We sit down with each one of our clients, review their return, answer questions, and discuss planning ideas for the upcoming year. Customer service is of paramount importance to us. And we ‘always’ accept new clients."

Community Involvement:
Mark’s Tax Professionals believes in giving back to the community. They are active in Animal Advocates, Moore County Humane Society amongst others. They are members of the Moore County Chamber with Mark sitting on their Board of Directors and Executive Committee. And Mark cooks for their staff during tax season.
