Tammy Waterbury the Owner/Operator began working at Beefeaters for the previous owners in 1994. It had always been a dream of hers to open her own restaurant. In 2011, Tammy purchased Beefeaters from the retiring owners. She has continued the tradition by offering the best salad bar and mouth-watering cuts of meat in the area, but has added her own touch and creative twists to make diners feel at home in the family-friendly restaurant. With longtime staff and several of Tammy’s family members joining her, Beefeaters has truly become a family enterprise.

Beefeaters has been a favorite dining destination in the Sandhills for generations, being one of the best steakhouse restaurants in the area. They are a locally-owned and family-operated steak and seafood restaurant in the heart of Southern Pines, NC. They have been voted “Best Steak” in Moore County every year since 1999 and have received the honor of “Best Steak” by the North Carolina Cattlemen’s Association.
