Village of Pinehurst, NC – On Sunday, March 3rd, Cameron & Company, a boutique shop featuring fine gifts and decorative accessories, will be hosting an old fashioned Birthday celebration all day long as they mark their tenth year in business the heart of Pinehurst.
“The shop has been a dream come true” remarked owner Caroline Miller “our son Cameron was just six months old when we opened so choosing the name of the family business was easy.”
Caroline is a North Carolina native, having grown up in nearby Wake County. The family had been coming to Pinehurst as a close-in get-away since she was fourteen. Enamored with Pinehurst, Caroline made it her home. Cameron & Co. believes in the community and supports Pinehurst whenever possible though various events like the Festival of Trees and the Hospital Ball. Caroline is very involved in Pinehurst, and is part of the Pinehurst Business Guild and is a member of the Village Enhancement Committee.
For the Miller’s retailing is a family business, so it was natural that the business is part of 10-year-old Cameron’s daily life. Caroline is delighted to teach her son her “hometown values” and the customer service that her father taught her. After school and on the weekends Cameron is often in the shop. It is easy to see how Caroline’s friendly manner has been passed down to her son when you glimpse Cameron helping a customer find the right shoe size on a busy Saturday.
Cameron & Co. is proud to be a part of the wonderful Pinehurst business community and is grateful for all the patronage and local support they have received over the years. Please stop by on Sunday, March 3rd, to celebrate with the Millers. Specials and drawings will continue all week long as a Thank you to all of Moore County.
