Coble joins coalition to take on President
Republican Congressman Howard Coble has joined a bipartisan coalition taking President Barrack Obama to court for waging war without congressional approval. Coble, who has represented Moore County for 13 consecutive terms, says he joined the lawsuit with eight other members because the President should have consulted the House and Senate before the strikes against Libya began. Congressman Coble says that under The War Powers Act Obama is required ot get congressional authority by the 19th of June. “I’m getting tired of of funding money by the billions of dollars and then seeing our people come home either dead or disabled for life.” The United States is now fighting on four fronts, in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and a secret war in Yeman.
