In another case involving marijuana possession, 19-year old Damon Saqawn Harris gave chase in his car to a couple of armed robbers after they broke into his Aberdeen Home. Along the way he called 9-1-1 and a couple of Hoke County Patrol Cars joined in the pursuit. Unfortunately for Damon, while he was eagerly explaining what happened to a couple of deputies, the lawmen spotted marijuana on the seat of his car. Hoke authorities charged him with being a drug dealer and then, to make matters worse, Moore County sentenced the poor fellow ot 10-months in jail for violating probation.
