Sheriff Reports Southern Pines Man Arrested After Search Reveals Drugs

SandhillsTribune.Com - Sheriff Lane Carter reports officers from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, Selective Enforcement Unit, and Southern Pines Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence located at 435 Northeast Broad Street in Southern Pines, North Carolina on February 26, 2013.

Officers located and seized approximately 422 grams of high grade marijuana, $927.00 in U. S. currency, and items of drug paraphernalia.

The estimated street value of the marijuana seized is $5,900.00.

Arrested was:

Matthew Karl Schriber 37 years of age

435 Northeast Broad Street

Southern Pine, North Carolina

Matthew Karl Schriber was arrested on February 26, 2013 and charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Matthew Karl Schriber received a $10,000.00 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County Detention Center.
