SandhillsTribune.Com - There is a new eatery destination here in Moore County that is like no other. The Full Moon Oyster Bar and Seafood Kitchen opened a couple of weeks ago in the same shopping center as Hobby Lobby and Kohl’s on Brucewood Road in Southern Pines.
Their motto is “Come as a stranger, and leave as a friend” and they mean every word of it. This unique eatery is the second Full Moon Oyster Bar that has been opened by the company founders Randy and Carol Russell. They opened the first Full Moon ten years ago in Clemons near Winston Salem, and that location is still going strong.
The Full Moon Oyster Bar and Seafood Kitchen has something to meet about any taste – with several specialties that you will only find there. All of the fish here is never frozen and is cut from the whole fish. When you visit make sure and order some of their real New Orleans french bread. It taste amazing.
Live music fills the restaurant on Friday and Saturday Nights. The entertainment usually starts this weekend at 6:30 PM with Dana & Evan.
The restaurant is located at 134 Brucewood Road in Southern Pines. They are open 7 days a week: Monday through Thursday from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11:30 AM to 10:30 PM and Sunday from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
