SP Police Report Arrest For Felony Robbery with Dangerous Weapon And Fugitive From Justice

SandhillsTribune.Com - The Southern Pines Police Department announces the arrest of Deadrian Tyrell Brazil, 22 years of age of Aberdeen, North Carolina on the charge of Felony Robbery with Dangerous Weapon, Injury to Personal Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Resist Delay Obstruct a Public Officer and Fugitive From Justice.

This arrest stems from an investigation by the Patrol and Investigation Divisions relating to an armed robbery which was reported on January 16, 2013 to the Southern Pines Police Department which occurred in the 200 block of SW Broad Street. Furthermore, on February 21, 2013 Deadrian Tyrell Brazil was involved in vandalism incident in the 200 block of W. Vermont Ave in Southern Pines at which time he fled from the responding patrol officers. After a brief foot pursuit Deadrian Tyrell Brazil was taken into custody without incident.

At the time of his arrest, Deadrian Brazil was in possession of a controlled substance. In addition to the charges filed for crimes committed in the town of Southern Pines, Deadrian Brazil is wanted on two warrants issued in the state of Delaware, the first for Possession of Controlled Substance and a second outstanding warrant for Robbery in the First Degree Displaying a Firearm.

Mr. Deadrian Tyrell Brazil appeared before a Moore County Magistrate and was remanded to the Moore County Jail with a collective secured bond of $55,500.00 pending hearings in Moore County District Court on March 13, 2013 and April 17, 2013.
