Old problems cause new concerns in 7 Lakes
It's not a new problem for the gated -community of Seven Lakes, but it has reached the stage where concern appears to be reaching a new level. Bob Darr, is Presidnet of The Seven Lakes Landowners Association. Darr recently provided the association with compelling evidence that in some cases Non-Residents are making more use of the Seven Lakes amenties that are residents themselves. Seven Lakes is the only residential community in Moore county ot offer free trail rides to members of the landowners association and their guests. Seven Lakes maintains astable of seven riidng horses and ponies at an annual cost of $70,000.00. The community swimming pool, Darr reported, is also heavly patronized yb guests. "In the big picture,' Darr suggests, "we ought to be charging for use by non-members."
