Stabbing victim flown To trauma center

A stabbing was reported Monday night in the Crains Creek area of Moore County. Emergency responders were called to 503 Wright Road off of NC 690 shortly before 9:00 PM .

A helicopter from Chapel Hill was called to transport the victim to a trauma center for emergency treatment. A landing zone was set up beside of the Crains Creek Fire Department to allow the helicopter to safely land in the dark. The incident is under investigation, and authorities have not released any details as of this writing.

Responding to this emergency were units from the Crains Creek Fire Department, Moore County EMS, and the Moore County Sheriff’s Department.
