Union Pines student being tried as an adult

A 15-year-old Union Pines Student is being tried as an adult. Andrew Tinney is charged with stabbing a school resource officer, who was wearing life saving body armor under his uniform. District Attorney Maureen Krueger explains that the state can seek ot transfer juveniles ot superior court as an adult if they ar e13 and if provable cause that a felony has been committed. Presiding District Court Judge Lee Gavin second bond of $100,000.00
