Bryce Kennedy to play at NC State

Pinecrest High school’s standout defense tackle, Bryce Kennedy, will enroll to play football for N-C State instead of the University of North Carolina. Kennedy said he’s switched his oral commitment in part because the Tarheels have hired a new coach. The 6-foot-4, 285-pound Kennedy was among the State’s top 50 college prospects. He was a starter on the North Carolina Team which won the annual Shrine Bowl of The Carolinas earlier this month. N-C State won The Belk Bowl this week by defeating the Louisville Cardinals. On Monday U-N-C was blown out 41-24 by Missouri in the Independence Bowl. Kennedy will enroll at N-C State for the spring semester.
