Hunting accident reported in North Moore County

The story details are incomplete at this time, however a reported hunting accident has resulted in a person being shot in the hand on Tarry Church Road outside of Robbins today between 2:30 and 3:00 PM. Initial reports are that the shooting was an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound. Sources report that emergency responders were on site within minutes of receiving the call for help. A medical helicopter from UNC Chapel Hill was called to the scene near the Moore County/Montgomery County line to transport the victim to a trauma center.
