Echo Dam repair won't be rushed
Seven Lakes Landowners have learned that the cost of repairing Echo Dam will be relatively modest. Don Fentzlaff is Vice President of the Seven Lakes Landowners Association. According to Fentzlaff the dam structure is stable and the Department Of Natural Resources has downgraded the timing of repairs. The association’s engineering ifrm is working up a proposal as to what needs to be done. “This is not a state-mandated repair,” says Fentzlaff, ‘so we don’t need to rush things.” The association will act only after engineers complete their evaluation and submit a full repart.
