Hardy Boy gets 10 days jail for drugs
Bad Boy Professional Wrestler Jeff Hardy avoided a lengthy prison sentence yesterday by copping a plea. The 34-year-old Marquee Grappler admitted to possession of a controlled substance and attempted trafficking. That plea got him ten days in jail, 30-months probation and a one-hundred thousand dollar fine. As a result of the plea deal, Moore County Prosecutors dropped other charges but said he must remain in a drug treatment program. A search of his Cameron home two years ago produced large quantities of illegal drugs. Hardy missed several court dates while he was performing out of the country.
