Hardy Boy in trouble with the law again
Professional Wrestlers Jeff and Matt Hardy are both in trouble with the law. Matt, at 36 the older of the two, has been charged with driving under the influence after his 2009 Chevrolet Corvette collided with a culvert and a tree in Cameron. The small Moore County Community is where the brothers live when not appearing as the “Hardy Boyz,” six time Tag Team Wrestling Champions. The arresting state trooper says Hardy had not been drinking and submitted to a blood test. According to the trooper Hardy appeared to have takne some type of impairing substance. Speed was also a factor, he says. A two sentence statement on the Total Nonstop Action website today says that Matt Hardy, who was already on suspension, has been released from the T-N-A Roster. Brother Jeff awaits sentencing next month on multiple drug-related charges. The 32-year-old Marquee Grappler is waiting to learn if instead of a jail sentence, he will be entering a rehabilitation program. Becky Carlson, who administers the Moore County Sentencing Services Program, has said that Jeff Hardy appears marginally qualified for a 28-day inpatient treatment program. Authorities raided his Cameron home two years ago and found large amounts of prescription pain killers, anabolic steroids, and powder cocaine. Jeff Hardy has a September 8th court date. His brother is scheduled to appear September 28th.
